Restaurant Brings Over 100 Full- and Part-Time Jobs to Community, Honors 100 Local Heroes with Free Chick-fil-A Entrées for a Year
MISSOURI CITY, Texas (Oct. 28, 2024) – A new Chick-fil-A® restaurant will begin serving the Missouri City community on Thursday, Oct. 31, 2024. Chick-fil-A, Inc. has selected Tony Levine as the independent franchised local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Fort Bend Town Center, marking his second restaurant in the community.
Located at 20310 Fort Bend Parkway, Chick-fil-A Fort Bend Town Center will be open for dine-in, drive-thru, carry-out, third-party delivery, curbside and Mobile Thru, a fully dedicated lane in the drive-thru where Guests can pick up orders placed ahead of time on the Chick-fil-A App®, from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
The Fort Bend Town Center restaurant joins more than 130 other Chick-fil-A restaurants serving the wider Houston market.
Locally Owned and Operated
Chick-fil-A’s franchise model is essential to how the restaurant serves others. Most Chick-fil-A restaurants are owned and operated by a single individual, which means Chick-fil-A’s local Owner-Operators are small business owners, not passive investors, who work in their restaurants side by side with their Team Members each day.
In Missouri City, Levine will be responsible for all day-to-day activities of the business, including employing over 100 full- and part-time Team Members, serving Guests, cultivating relationships with local organizations and businesses, and tailoring philanthropic efforts to meet the community’s needs.
For 25 years, Levine’s life revolved around football—coaching at every level from high school to the National Football League. When he and his family moved to take a coaching position at the University of Houston in 2008, they quickly fell in love with Houston’s diversity, vibrant culture and strong sense of community, making it their home.
After seven seasons at the University of Houston, Levine faced a pivotal choice: continue in the demanding world of coaching or find a new path that offered a better work-life balance. He chose to embark on a transformative journey to become a Chick-fil-A local Owner-Operator, where he could channel his passion for developing people in a new way and use his coaching skills to lead and inspire his team.
Since being selected as the local Owner-Operator for Chick-fil-A Sienna Crossing six years ago, Levine has dedicated himself to making a meaningful impact, within both his restaurant and the community. He partners with The Rose, a mobile mammogram unit providing free screenings to 25 women each quarter, with each participant receiving a year’s worth of free Chick-fil-A meals. He also hosts a quarterly blood drive, where each donor receives three free meals, symbolizing the three lives they could save. Levine’s commitment extends to Fort Bend Independent School District, where he supports the special education program by providing job opportunities to students with disabilities.
“At Chick-fil-A Fort Bend Town Center, our mission will be to truly care for our team and make a positive difference in our community,” Levine shares. “I believe that ‘cared-for people care for people,’ and this principle will guide everything we do in our restaurant. As we look forward to opening another restaurant, we’re excited to create even more moments of joy and continue supporting the people and community we hold dear.”
Caring for the Missouri City Community
The Chick-fil-A business is built to add positive impact beyond profit, including giving back to local communities. Chick-fil-A local Owner-Operators are empowered to support the neighborhoods they serve with a key focus on hunger, education and specific community needs.
In celebration of the opening, Chick-fil-A, Inc. has donated $25,000 to Feeding America to support local hunger relief efforts of the Houston Food Bank, a Feeding America partner food bank, in honor of the new restaurant.
Levine’s restaurant is participating in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table® program, an initiative that redirects surplus food from the restaurant to local soup kitchens, shelters, food banks and nonprofits in need. To date, more than 30 million meals have been created from Chick-fil-A Shared Table donations from over 2,200 Chick-fil-A restaurants throughout the U.S. and Canada.
In addition, Chick-fil-A Fort Bend Town Center is recognizing 100 local heroes making an impact in the Missouri City area by providing them with free Chick-fil-A entrées for a year.
