ROWLETT, Texas (July 31, 2023) – A new Chick-fil-A® restaurant will begin serving the Rowlett community on Thursday, Aug. 3. Chick-fil-A, Inc. has selected Becky Encinia as the independent franchised Owner/Operator of Chick-fil-A Hwy 66 & Dalrock.
Located at 8500 Lakeview Parkway, Chick-fil-A Hwy 66 & Dalrock will be open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m., with the drive-thru open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Guests of Chick-fil-A Hwy 66 & Dalrock can place an order for pickup or dine-in on the Chick-fil-A® App or online. When joining the Chick-fil-A One® tiered membership program, Chick-fil-A One members receive points on every qualifying purchase, which can be used to redeem available rewards. The Hwy 66 & Dalrock restaurant is the second Chick-fil-A to open in Rowlett and joins more than 140 other Chick-fil-A restaurants serving the wider Dallas Fort-Worth market.

As full-time, hands-on leaders in their restaurants and communities, Chick-fil-A Owner/Operators proudly reside in the communities in which they serve.
In Rowlett, Encinia will be responsible for all day-to-day activities of the business, including employing approximately 90 full- and part-time Team Members, serving guests and cultivating relationships with local organizations and businesses.
Encinia has many childhood memories of Chick-fil-A as her mother worked at Chick-fil-A Town East Mall as a manager. Starting as a Team Member herself in 1996, Encinia has been with Chick-fil-A for over two decades, also serving as General Manager at Chick-fil-A Mesquite for six years and then as the Operator of Chick-fil-A Grapevine Mills for four years. In 2006, Encinia moved to Rowlett to open Chick-fil-A Rowlett and has lived in the area for over 16 years with her husband, Mike, and their two daughters. In a full-circle moment, her daughter, Abigail, now works in the restaurant alongside her. Thrilled to add another location to the area, Encinia will continue to operate Chick-fil-A Rowlett in addition to Chick-fil-A Hwy 66 & Dalrock Rd.
“I am so excited to multiply our service and care through Chick-fil-A Hwy 66 & Dalrock Rd and provide even more growth opportunities for our incredible team,” Encinia said. “The Rowlett community means so much to my family and me, and I am honored to open my second restaurant here.”
Caring for the Rowlett Community
In celebration of the opening, Chick-fil-A, Inc. will donate $25,000 to Feeding America in honor of the new restaurant. These funds will be distributed to partners in the greater Dallas Fort-Worth area to aid in the fight against hunger.
In addition, Chick-fil-A Hwy 66 & Dalrock is recognizing 100 local heroes making an impact in the Rowlett area by providing them with free Chick-fil-A entrées for a year.
Encinia’s restaurant will plan to participate in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table® program, an initiative that redirects surplus food from the restaurant to local soup kitchens, shelters, food banks and nonprofits in need. To date, more than 18 million meals have been served nationwide from Chick-fil-A Shared Table donations.
