Restaurant to Bring Approximately 40 Full- and Part-Time Jobs to Community
PHILADELPHIA, Penn. (Feb. 28, 2022) – A new Chick-fil-A® restaurant is slated to open for business in Philadelphia on Wednesday, March 2. Chick-fil-A, Inc. has selected Duane Pierce as the independent franchised Owner/Operator of Chick-fil-A Adams Plaza. Pierce will be responsible for all day-to-day activities of the business, including employing approximately 40 full- and part-time Team Members, cultivating relationships with local organizations and neighboring businesses, and serving guests. Chick-fil-A Adams Plaza is located at 811 Adams Ave., off Roosevelt Boulevard, and will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
Chick-fil-A remains committed to serving guests safely. Chick-fil-A Adams Plaza will open for third-party delivery and Chick-fil-A Delivery, as well as walk up and catering service. This restaurant is a delivery-focused location and will serve to centralize the production of delivery and catering orders for other Chick-fil-A restaurants within the area. Guests can take advantage of contactless ordering and payment through the free Chick-fil-A® App or through online ordering. Locally Owned and Operated
Chick-fil-A Adams Plaza is locally owned and operated by Duane Pierce, who also operates Northeast Tower, which is less than one mile away from Adams Plaza. Pierce and his family are travelers who love to visit other Chick-fil-A restaurants on the road, gain inspiration and bring new energy back to Philadelphia. Pierce first started volunteering at Chick-fil-A in 2014 while he was serving as an undercover detective.
“I’m thrilled to be opening a store with a kitchen dedicated solely to delivery orders,” said Pierce. “This new kitchen will allow us to better serve our guests and the Philadelphia community.”
