Why did Chick-fil-A change its cup?
Moving forward, Chick-fil-A restaurants that were serving cold beverages and treats in the double-wall paper cup will transition to single-wall paper and plastic cups.
When will the change occur?
Chick-fil-A restaurants will stop serving double-wall paper cups at select locations beginning November 2024.
Is the new cup recyclable?
Yes, both the single-wall paper cup and the plastic cup can be recycled in select locations, where facilities exist. Visit the Paper Cup Alliance to learn more about industry efforts to expand paper cup recycling and local community cup recycling programs.
