Restaurant Brings Approximately 110 Full- and Part-Time Jobs to Community, Honors 100 Local Heroes with Free Chick-fil-A Entrées for a Year
BIG SPRING, Texas (Nov. 27, 2023) – The first Chick-fil-A® restaurant in Big Spring will begin serving the Big Spring community on Thursday, Nov. 30, 2023. Chick-fil-A, Inc. has selected Katie Moyle as the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Big Spring.
Located at 502 E. FM 700, Chick-fil-A Big Spring will be open for dine-in and carry-out from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m., and drive-thru from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Guests of Chick-fil-A Big Spring can place an order for pickup, dine-in or delivery on the Chick-fil-A® App or online. When joining the Chick-fil-A One® tiered membership program, Chick-fil-A One members receive points on every qualifying purchase, which can be used to redeem available rewards. The Big Spring restaurant joins nine other Chick-fil-A restaurants in the greater Odessa-Midland area.

As full-time, hands-on leaders in their restaurants and communities, Chick-fil-A local Owner-Operators proudly reside in the communities in which they serve.
In Big Spring, Moyle will be responsible for all day-to-day activities of the business, including employing approximately 110 full- and part-time Team Members, serving Guests and cultivating relationships with local organizations and businesses.
Texas native Moyle is thrilled to plant her roots in the Big Spring community alongside her family. Moyle is a proud graduate of Texas Christian University and the University of North Texas where she earned her bachelor's and master's degrees in education. Prior to pursuing her new chapter as a Chick-fil-A local Owner-Operator, Moyle had a successful career in client services, which made for a smooth transition to Chick-fil-A, a company known for its signature service and hospitality. Moyle was first introduced to Chick-fil-A through her husband, who was a local police officer and eventually became the Chief of Police. During his shifts, they often chose their local Chick-fil-A for their weekly lunch dates. Moyle and her family have always had a special place in their hearts for Chick-fil-A, and she is excited for the Big Spring community to make their own memories at her restaurant.

Caring for the Big Spring Community
In celebration of the opening, Chick-fil-A, Inc. will donate $25,000 to Feeding America to support local hunger relief efforts of the West Texas Food Bank, a Feeding America partner food bank, in honor of the new restaurant.
In addition, Chick-fil-A Big Spring is recognizing 100 local heroes making an impact in the Big Spring area by providing them with free Chick-fil-A entrées for a year.
Moyle’s restaurant will plan to participate in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table® program, an initiative that redirects surplus food from the restaurant to local soup kitchens, shelters, food banks and non-profits in need. To date, more than 23 million meals have been created from Chick-fil-A Shared Table donations from nearly 2,000 Chick-fil-A restaurants throughout the U.S. and Canada.
