Restaurant Brings Approximately 100 Full- and Part-Time Jobs to Community, Honors 100 Local Heroes with Free Chick-fil-A Entrées for a Year
BIXBY, Okla. (Nov. 27, 2023) – A new Chick-fil-A® restaurant will begin serving the Bixby community on Friday, Dec. 1, 2023. Chick-fil-A, Inc. has selected Greg Campbell as the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Bixby Central.
Located at 14811 S Memorial Drive, Chick-fil-A Bixby Central will be open for dine-in, drive-thru and carry-out from 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Guests of Chick-fil-A Bixby Central can place an order for pickup, dine-in or delivery on the Chick-fil-A® App or online. The new restaurant will also feature Mobile Thru, a fully dedicated lane in the drive-thru where guests can pick up orders placed on the Chick-fil-A App. When joining the Chick-fil-A One® tiered membership program, Chick-fil-A One members receive points on every qualifying purchase, which can be used to redeem available rewards. The Bixby restaurant joins 16 other Chick-fil-A restaurants serving the wider Tulsa market.

As full-time, hands-on leaders in their restaurants and communities, local Chick-fil-A Owner-Operators proudly reside in the communities in which they serve.
In Bixby, Campbell will be responsible for all day-to-day activities of the business, including employing approximately 100 full- and part-time Team Members, serving Guests and cultivating relationships with local organizations and businesses.
With more than 35 years of experience with Chick-fil-A, Campbell is thrilled to share his passion for great-tasting food and signature hospitality with the Bixby community. Campbell started his career with Chick-fil-A in Colorado Springs as a Team Member in 1989 and first became a local Owner-Operator in St. Louis after graduating college in 1998. In 2009, he transitioned from St. Louis to Tulsa, where he opened Chick-fil-A North Bixby and has served as the local Owner-Operator for the last 14 years.
Known for his community engagement, Campbell has established traditions at Chick-fil-A North Bixby, which he plans to bring to Chick-fil-A Bixby Central. From creating unique programs to celebrate students to inviting local teachers to eat for free, Campbell is eager to grow as a community partner with the opening of Bixby Central. Campbell will continue to serve as the local Owner-Operator at Chick-fil-A North Bixby in addition to the new restaurant.
“I am so grateful for the opportunity to create additional jobs, care for more Guests and make a larger impact in the Bixby community with the opening of Chick-fil-A Bixby Central,” said Campbell. “For us, it’s much more than opening another restaurant, but a way that we can show even more care.”
Caring for the Bixby Community
In celebration of the opening, Chick-fil-A, Inc. will donate $25,000 to Feeding America in honor of the new restaurant. These funds will be distributed to partners in the greater Tulsa area to aid in the fight against hunger.
In addition, Chick-fil-A Bixby Central is recognizing 100 local heroes making an impact in the Bixby area by providing them with free Chick-fil-A entrées for a year. The restaurant has chosen local staff from the Bixby school district to receive this recognition.
“I have seen first-hand the impact giving back can have on a community, especially in schools,” shared Campbell. "With a passion for education, I wanted to take a moment to recognize this hard-working community.”
Campbell’s restaurant will plan to participate in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table® program, an initiative that redirects surplus food from the restaurant to local soup kitchens, shelters, food banks and nonprofits in need. To date, more than 23 million meals have been created from Chick-fil-A Shared Table donations from nearly 2,000 Chick-fil-A restaurants throughout the U.S. and Canada.
