Restaurant Brings Approximately 70 Full- and Part-Time Jobs to Community, Honors 100 Local Heroes With Free Chick-fil-A Meals for a Year
CONROE, Texas (July 28, 2022) – A new Chick-fil-A® restaurant will begin serving the Conroe community on Wednesday, Aug. 3. Chick-fil-A, Inc. has selected Casey Hughes as the independent franchised Owner/Operator of Chick-fil-A 242 & Harpers Preserve.
Located at 10057 Hwy. 242 in The Woodlands across from the HEB, Chick-fil-A 242 & Harpers Preserve will be open for drive-thru service from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Guests of Chick-fil-A 242 & Harpers Preserve can place an order for pickup or delivery on the Chick-fil-A® App or online. When joining the Chick-fil-A One® tiered membership program, guests receive points on every qualifying purchase which can be used to redeem available rewards. At Chick-fil-A 242 & Harpers Preserve, Casey Hughes will be responsible for all day-to-day activities of the business, including employing approximately 70 full- and part-time Team Members, serving guests and cultivating relationships with local organizations and businesses.
A Houston native, Hughes grew up eating at Chick-fil-A restaurants in the area with his family. Following his graduation from the U.S. Naval Academy, Hughes served as a lieutenant in the U.S. Navy, where he developed his leadership skills and passion for mentoring others. With a desire to make a difference in the community, Hughes was determined to join the Chick-fil-A family and pursued becoming an Operator. With mentorship from his father-in-law, who operated a Chick-fil-A restaurant for nearly 30 years, Hughes’ dream was fulfilled when he was selected as the Operator of Chick-fil-A The Woodlands at College Park in 2010. Hughes currently operates two restaurants in the greater Houston area and is thrilled to open Chick-fil-A 242 & Harpers Preserve. He looks forward to building impactful relationships and becoming further engrained in the community.

Caring for the Conroe Community
In honor of the opening, Chick-fil-A, Inc. will donate $25,000 to Feeding America on behalf of the new restaurant. These funds will be distributed to partners in the greater Houston area to aid in the fight against hunger.
In addition, Chick-fil-A 242 & Harpers Preserve is recognizing 100 local heroes making an impact in the Conroe area by providing them with free Chick-fil-A meals for a year.
