Restaurant Brings Approximately 150 Full- and Part-Time Jobs to Community, Honors 100 Local Heroes With Free Chick-fil-A Meals for a Year
KEIZER, Ore. (Aug. 1, 2022) – A new Chick-fil-A® restaurant will begin serving the Keizer community on Thursday, August 4. Chick-fil-A, Inc. has selected Clint Peebles as the independent franchised Owner/Operator of Chick-fil-A I-5 & Chemawa Rd.
Located at 5655 Ulali Drive NE, Chick-fil-A I-5 & Chemawa Rd. will be open for dine-in and carry-out from 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. and drive-thru from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Guests of Chick-fil-A I-5 & Chemawa Rd. can place an order for pickup, dine-in or delivery on the Chick-fil-A® App or online. When joining the Chick-fil-A One® tiered membership program, guests receive points on every qualifying purchase which can be used to redeem available rewards. The I-5 & Chemawa Rd. restaurant will be the first Chick-fil-A in the mid-Willamette Valley and joins six other restaurants serving the wider Portland market.

In Keizer, Peebles will be responsible for all day-to-day activities of the business, including employing approximately 150 full- and part-time Team Members, serving guests and cultivating relationships with local organizations and businesses.
Peebles grew up in the Willamette Valley and graduated from Oregon State University in 2014 with a bachelor's degree in business management and a minor in communications. Peebles has always had his sights set on becoming a restaurant owner, dating back to his first high school job in the fast-food industry. Prior to joining Chick-fil-A, Peebles held positions as an Operations Manager and a Sales and Customer Service Manager. In those previous roles, he found his passion for leading teams and serving others, which he looks forward to continuing as a Chick-fil-A Operator.
“I feel blessed to have the opportunity to pursue my dream of owning a restaurant alongside my family and friends,” said Peebles. “I’m excited to begin this new chapter in Keizer serving delicious chicken with memorable hospitality. I also look forward to making an impact in the Keizer community by mentoring my Team Members, sponsoring youth athletics and supporting local schools.”

In honor of the opening, Chick-fil-A, Inc. will donate $25,000 to Feeding America on behalf of the new restaurant. These funds will be distributed to partners in the greater Portland area to aid in the fight against hunger.
Additionally, Chick-fil-A I-5 & Chemawa Rd. is recognizing 100 local heroes making an impact in the Keizer area by providing them with free Chick-fil-A meals for a year.
