2024 conference registration and cohort program application now open
The annual Chick-fil-A Impact Accelerator™ conference for nonprofit organizations is coming up! Here are the top 5 things you need to know about the event and the optional 10-month leadership development cohort program that follows.
1. It’s free.
One of the ways Chick-fil-A serves local communities is by helping further the impact of nonprofits across North America. Through Chick-fil-A Impact Accelerator, Chick-fil-A, Inc., in partnership with Atlanta nonprofit Plywood People, covers the costs for nonprofit leaders, valued at over $1,000, to participate in person or virtually.
2. It can help nonprofits take their efforts to the next level.
With a goal of helping organizations sustain their purpose and scale their impact, the Chick-fil-A Impact Accelerator brings together hundreds of nonprofit leaders for a powerful one-day event. Attendees learn from influential national thought leaders through main stage programming and breakout sessions that cover key industry topics: strategic marketing and social media, organizational growth, innovation in programming, financial planning and analysis, leadership and board development, and much more.
3. It’s open to nonprofits throughout the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico.
While the annual event is hosted in Atlanta, Ga., the opportunities are open to any charitable organization based in the U.S. or Canada. Organizations that register should have goals that align with Chick-fil-A’s corporate social responsibility focus areas: caring for people, caring for communities, caring through food and caring for the planet.
4. There’s a related opportunity for year-round development.
Beyond the one-day conference, nonprofits can also apply through a grant from Chick-fil-A, Inc. to participate in the Chick-fil-A Impact Accelerator cohort program, a 10-month immersive leadership development opportunity with additional in-depth training, development and networking for up to 15 leaders.
