Restaurant Brings Approximately 100 Full- and Part-Time Jobs to Community, Honors 100 Local Heroes with Free Chick-fil-A Entrées for a Year
BROKEN ARROW, Okla. (May 14, 2024) – A new Chick-fil-A® restaurant will begin serving the Broken Arrow community on Friday, May 17. Chick-fil-A, Inc. has selected Jeff Kraft as the independent franchised local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Creek Turnpike & Aspen Ave.
Located at 5501 S Aspen Ave., Chick-fil-A Creek Turnpike & Aspen Ave will be open for dine-in, drive-thru, carry-out and delivery from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
The Creek Turnpike & Aspen Ave restaurant joins more than 17 other Chick-fil-A restaurants serving the wider Tulsa market.
Locally Owned and Operated
Chick-fil-A’s franchise model is essential to how the restaurant serves others. Most Chick-fil-A restaurants are owned and operated by a single individual, which means Chick-fil-A’s local Owner-Operators are small business owners, not passive investors, who work in their restaurants side by side with their Team Members each day.
In Broken Arrow, Kraft will be responsible for all day-to-day activities of the business, including employing approximately 100 full- and part-time Team Members, serving Guests, cultivating relationships with local organizations and businesses and tailoring philanthropic efforts to meet the Broken Arrow community’s needs.
Hailing from Edmond, Oklahoma, Kraft grew up immersed in the hospitality industry, supporting his family business of nearly 100 restaurants across the Southwest. With a heart for service, Kraft earned a business management degree from the University of Oklahoma and went on to start his own truck accessory company in Midwest City, Oklahoma. There, Kraft was introduced to a local Chick-fil-A Owner-Operator who identified a unique combination of business acumen and customer service expertise in Kraft and asked him to join the Chick-fil-A team. With the support of his wife, Caitlin, and three kids, Kraft now steps into the role of local Owner-Operator himself and is thrilled to offer a gathering place for his Broken Arrow neighbors to create new traditions that will last a lifetime.
“I feel so fortunate to have had the opportunity to shadow my Chick-fil-A mentor for nearly six years, and now today, it feels like a dream to say I am opening a Chick-fil-A restaurant of my own,” said Kraft. “This tight-knit community has welcomed my family and I with such open arms, and as local Owner-Operator, it is my goal that every guest feels the same welcoming environment at Chick-fil-A Creek Turnpike & Aspen Ave, while enjoying some great-tasting food alongside family or friends.”

The Chick-fil-A business is built to add positive impact beyond profit, including giving back to local communities. Chick-fil-A local Owner-Operators are empowered to support the neighborhoods they serve with a key focus on hunger, education, and specific community needs.
In celebration of the opening, Chick-fil-A, Inc. has donated $25,000 to Feeding America to support local hunger relief efforts of Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma, a Feeding America partner food bank, in honor of the new restaurant. Since 2020, Chick-fil-A has donated $100,000 to Feeding America partners in the Tulsa community.
Kraft’s restaurant will plan to participate in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table® program, an initiative that redirects surplus food from the restaurant to local soup kitchens, shelters, food banks and nonprofits in need. To date, more than 60,000 meals have been created in Tulsa from donations from the Chick-fil-A Shared Table program, and more than 25 million meals donated from Chick-fil-A restaurants throughout the U.S. and Canada.
In addition, Chick-fil-A Creek Turnpike & Aspen Ave is recognizing 100 local heroes making an impact in the Broken Arrow area by providing them with free Chick-fil-A entrées for a year.
