Locally Owned and Operated
As full-time, hands-on leaders in their restaurants and communities, Chick-fil-A Owner/Operators proudly reside in the communities in which they serve.

In Rio Grande City, Alcocer will be responsible for all day-to-day activities of the business, including employing approximately 120 full- and part-time Team Members, serving guests and cultivating relationships with local organizations and businesses.

Alcocer, having started his Chick-fil-A career at Chick-fil-A North Laredo at only 17 years old, is a Chick-fil-A veteran. Over the years, he has served in a variety of roles, ranging from being the man in the Chick-fil-A cow costume by day to serving as a front counter Team Member by night.

In 2015, Alcocer moved with Operator Michael Hancock to Chick-fil-A Pharr, located in the Rio Grande Valley. He gained experience in most roles, including serving as the General Manager of Chick-fil-A Pharr, prior to entering Chick-fil-A Inc.’s Leadership Development Program (LDP) in February 2020. He was a part of LDP for more than two years. During that time, he traveled the country with his wife Aimee, whom he met at Chick-fil-A Pharr, and their newborn daughter, Allie. Alcocer was selected as the Chick-fil-A Rio Grande City Operator in May 2022.

“I grew and learned so much during my time at Chick-fil-A North Laredo and Chick-fil-A Pharr,” said Alcocer. “As the Operator for Chick-fil-A Rio Grande City, I hope to bring attributes I’ve learned from every person I’ve met along my Chick-fil-A journey. I aspire to lead my team to care, coach, motivate, challenge and grow alongside each other.”

Caring for the Rio Grande City Community
In honor of the opening, Chick-fil-A, Inc. will donate $25,000 to Feeding America on behalf of the new restaurant. These funds will be distributed to partners in the greater Rio Grande Valley to aid in the fight against hunger.

In addition, Chick-fil-A Rio Grande City is recognizing 100 local heroes making an impact in the Rio Grande City area by providing them with free Chick-fil-A meals for a year.

Alcocer’s restaurant will be participating in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table™ Program, an initiative that redirects surplus food from the restaurant to local soup kitchens, shelters, food banks and nonprofits in need. Alcocer is partnering with Casa de Esperanza in Rio Grande City. Additionally, to thank the community for their support, participating restaurants in the Rio Grande Valley are offering a free 4-count Chick-fil-A Chick-n-Minis entrée to guests via the Chick-fil-A App from Monday, Oct. 17 through Sat., Oct. 29.*

Team Member Investment
Chick-fil-A Operators are committed to hiring, developing and retaining top talent and providing a positive work environment for people of all ages and backgrounds. Team Members have opportunities for flexible work hours and leadership growth, competitive pay and benefits, hands-on training and mentoring and the chance to apply for scholarships to support their continuing education.

Delicious Food; Outstanding Customer Service
Chick-fil-A is known for serving customers great-tasting food made with high-quality ingredients, including the original Chick-fil-A® Chicken Sandwich. Made with a real, whole, boneless breast of chicken with no added fillers, the breaded chicken is pressure cooked in fully-refined peanut oil. Chick-fil-A was one of the first in the industry to eliminate chicken raised with antibiotics to ensure guests have an option for high-quality food on the go.

To complement the great-tasting chicken, fresh produce is delivered to Chick-fil-A restaurants up to six times a week for the best quality and flavor. The fresh ingredients are raised and grown by farmers who share the company's elevated quality and safety standards, so guests feel good about their meal.

Anyone in the Rio Grande Valley-area who creates or logs in to their account via the Chick-fil-A App or online will automatically receive the offer on their ‘Rewards’ tab, which can then be redeemed during checkout. The offer is only valid during breakfast hours at participating Rio Grande Valley-area Chick-fil-A locations.
