Our lemonade is a customer favorite. Turns out, it's also the perfect base for making your own herbal infusions at home.

Owners-Operators and staff volunteer together to help address food insecurity

When Chick-fil-A® Owners-Operators and Chick-fil-A, Inc. staff from across North America gathered in Orlando, Florida, for the company’s annual conference, they had no idea they would have the opportunity to create major community impact together.

“We’re here to serve”

One of Chick-fil-A’s core values is “We’re here to serve,” which reflects the company’s commitment to giving back and having a positive impact throughout local communities.

In early February 2024, Chick-fil-A teamed up with U.S. Hunger and Convoy of Hope to organize a meal-packing event of massive scale at the Orange County Convention Center. Thousands of Chick-fil-A conference attendees volunteered to pack two million red lentil jambalaya meals in less than two hours.

The Collective Impact

Of the meals packed, one million will be distributed to help provide immediate relief during disaster relief efforts. The other one million will help combat food insecurity in underserved urban and rural communities.

“This incredible undertaking reflects Chick-fil-A’s genuine commitment to giving back and serving others,” said Daniel Burns, senior director of corporate relations for Convoy of Hope. “Hunger and food insecurity are critical issues in the U.S. and beyond, and we applaud Chick-fil-A for their proactive efforts to improve the livelihood of others throughout the communities they serve.”

"We are honored to stand alongside Chick-fil-A in our long-standing partnership, demonstrating their unwavering commitment to addressing food insecurity and making a lasting impact in the communities they serve," said Rick Whitted, President & CEO, U.S. Hunger.

A Caring Company

Chick-fil-A founder S. Truett Cathy is known for having said “a great company is a caring company,” and his legacy of care lives on at Chick-fil-A through efforts like this and countless others. From local Owners-Operators who donate surplus food from their restaurants to help feed those in need to moments of impact like this colossal meal-packing event, these efforts support one of the company’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) goals to provide 200 million meals to communities by 2025.
