Is Chick-fil-A testing autonomous delivery in restaurants?

In 2022, Chick-fil-A began a limited-time pilot program testing autonomous delivery robots to deliver meals to Guests at participating restaurants across the Southeast. The pilot program ended in fall 2024. 

• Why did the autonomous pilot program end?  

The Chick-fil-A autonomous delivery program was a limited-time pilot aimed at exploring new ways to reach our Guests and their evolving needs. The pilot was active in a few markets across the Southeast for a limited time, and it has since ended. We are currently evaluating learnings from the program as we continue to look for innovative ways to serve our Guests.  

• Are there plans to reinstate the autonomous delivery pilot program at any other Chick-fil-A locations in the future?

We are currently reviewing the learnings from the autonomous delivery pilot program. While we do not have confirmed plans to expand the program, we are always exploring new ways to serve our Guests.
