Restaurant Brings Approximately 125 Full- and Part-Time Jobs to Community, Honors 100 Local Heroes with Free Chick-fil-A Meals for a Year
COLLIER TOWNSHIP, Pa. (Nov. 29, 2022) – A new Chick-fil-A® restaurant will begin serving the Collier Township community on Thursday, Dec. 1, 2022. Chick-fil-A, Inc. has selected Andy Pulkowski as the independent franchised Owner/Operator of Chick-fil-A Collier Township.
Located at 1025 Washington Pike in the Chartiers Valley Shopping Center, Chick-fil-A CollierTownship will be open for dine-in, drive-thru and carry-out from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Guests of Chick-fil-A Collier Township can place an order for pickup, dine-in or delivery on the Chick-fil-A® App or online. When joining the Chick-fil-A One® tiered membership program, guests receive points on every qualifying purchase, which can be used to redeem available rewards. As full-time, hands-on leaders in their restaurants and communities, Chick-fil-A Owner/Operators proudly reside in the communities in which they serve.
In Collier Township, Pulkowski will be responsible for all day-to-day activities of the business, including employing approximately 125 full- and part-time Team Members, serving guests and cultivating relationships with local organizations and businesses.
Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pulkowski was a leader and consultant in the IT industry for more than three decades prior to joining Chick-fil-A. He then served as the Chick-fil-A Phillipsburg Operator in New Jersey for over three years, and was afforded this homecoming opportunity in Collier Township, where some of his earliest memories include visits to the Chartiers Valley Shopping Center.
Chick-fil-A has been an important part of his family’s life, first as fans, and now as a family business. In fact, each of Pulkowski’s four children have worked at Chick-fil-A restaurants, and his oldest daughter Bethany will join him at Chick-fil-A Collier Township as the Director of HR and Administration. The Pulkowski family looks forward to continuing their journey with Chick-fil-A and reconnecting with the community they have called home for many years.
“I am overjoyed to return to my hometown and invest in the community through this restaurant,” said Pulkowski. “My vision for this restaurant is to be a gathering place for the community – one that lives by a mission of making friends every day, and we look forward to so many moments to share care for our Team Members and guests.”
Caring for the Community
In honor of the opening, Chick-fil-A, Inc. will donate $25,000 to Feeding America on behalf of the new restaurant. These funds will be distributed to partners in the greater Pittsburgh area to aid in the fight against hunger.
In addition, Chick-fil-A Collier Township is recognizing 100 local heroes making an impact in the Pittsburgh area by providing them with free Chick-fil-A meals for a year.
