Honors 100 Local Heroes with Free Chick-fil-A Entrées for a Year
MISSION VIEJO, Calif. (August 28, 2023) – A new Chick-fil-A® restaurant will begin serving the Mission Viejo community on Thursday, August 31, 2023. Chick-fil-A, Inc. has selected Brett Jugo as the independent franchised Owner/Operator of Chick-fil-A Trabuco Hills Center.
Located at 27845 Santa Margarita Parkway, Chick-fil-A Trabuco Hills Center will be open for dine-in, drive-thru, carry-out and delivery from 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Guests of Chick-fil-A Trabuco Hills Center can place an order for pickup, dine-in on the Chick-fil-A® App or online. When joining the Chick-fil-A One® tiered membership program, guests receive points on every qualifying purchase, which can be used to redeem available rewards.
The Trabuco Hills Center restaurant joins more than 26 other Chick-fil-A restaurants serving Orange County and becomes the first in Mission Viejo.
Locally Owned and Operated
Chick-fil-A restaurants are owned and operated by independent, franchised Operators who proudly reside in the communities in which they serve.
At Trabuco Hills Center, Jugo will be responsible for all day-to-day activities of the business, including employing approximately 115 full- and part-time Team Members, serving guests and cultivating relationships with local organizations and businesses.
Jugo was first introduced to Chick-fil-A as a kid growing up in Miami, Florida. His parents began a tradition where they would reward him and his sister with their meal of choice at the Dadeland Mall food court for good behavior and accomplishments in school. One day, Jugo tagged along with his father, who always opted to order at Chick-fil-A, and his love for the restaurant company began. More recently, it was Jugo’s wife, Kat, who encouraged him to explore the Chick-fil-A Operator opportunity. Inspired and intrigued, Jugo began to work with several Chick-fil-A Operators to learn the ins and outs of the business. Now Jugo, his wife and their two daughters look forward to establishing their new restaurant as a community pillar in Mission Viejo and creating new traditions.
“We’re so excited to give back to and serve our Mission Viejo guests,” said Jugo. “Of course, we want people to enjoy our delicious, fresh food, but our goal is for this restaurant to bring so much more than that. We’re passionate about hosting programs and partnering with the community to pour back into the next group of leaders and to fight hunger right here in our area. We want our neighbors to understand that we care about what’s important to them.”
Caring for the Mission Viejo Community
In honor of the opening, Chick-fil-A Trabuco Hills Center is recognizing 100 local heroes making an impact in the Mission Viejo area by providing them with free Chick-fil-A entrées for a year.
In addition, Chick-fil-A, Inc. will donate $25,000 to Feeding America on behalf of the new restaurant. These funds will be distributed to Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County to aid in the fight against hunger.
Jugo’s restaurant will participate in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table® program, an initiative that redirects surplus food from the restaurant to local soup kitchens, shelters, food banks and nonprofits to feed those in need. To date, more than 20 million meals have been served nationwide from Chick-fil-A Shared Table donations.
