Two New Capital Region Restaurants on July 20

Restaurants Honor 200 Local Heroes with Free Chick-fil-A for a Year, Support Community through $50,000 Donation to Feeding America
ALBANY, N.Y. (July 11, 2023) – The first two locally owned and operated Chick-fil-A restaurants in the Capital Region will begin serving guests on Thursday, July 20 in Clifton Park and North Greenbush. Chick-fil-A, Inc. has selected Scott Payne as the independent franchised Owner/Operator of Chick-fil-A Clifton Park Center and Will Potts as the independent franchised Owner/Operator of Chick-fil-A North Greenbush.
Located at 304 Clifton Park Center Road, Clifton Park, and 502 North Greenbush Road, Rensselaer, both restaurants will be open for dine-in, drive-thru and carry-out from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday. When joining the Chick-fil-A One tiered membership program, guests receive points on every qualifying purchase, which can be used to redeem available rewards.
Caring for the Capital Region
In celebration of the Chick-fil-A Clifton Park Center and Chick-fil-A North Greenbush openings, Chick-fil-A, Inc. will donate $25,000 on behalf of each new restaurant, totaling $50,000, to Feeding America to support local hunger relief efforts of Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York, a certified member of Feeding America.
In addition, Chick-fil-A Clifton Park Center and Chick-fil-A North Greenbush are each recognizing 100 local heroes making an impact in the Clifton Park and Rensselaer areas by providing them with free Chick-fil-A entrées for a year.
Finally, both Payne’s and Potts’ restaurants will participate in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table Program®, an initiative that redirects surplus food from the restaurant to local soup kitchens, shelters, food banks and nonprofits in need. To date, more than 20 million meals have been served nationwide from Chick-fil-A Shared Table donations.

Our Drive-Thru Experience
Chick-fil-A Clifton Park Center and Chick-fil-A North Greenbush restaurants will both feature a dual-lane drive-thru focused on expediting and elevating the experience for guests with innovation, speed and hospitality. Team Members will greet customers in the drive-thru line in-person and will take each guest’s orders on a tablet. As one Team Member walks the line taking orders, another will come to the customer’s car to take payment, allowing vehicles to move through more quickly than they do at a traditional speaker box drive-thru. Guests will also have the opportunity to review the menu online in advance of visiting the restaurant.
