Educators from across the U.S. celebrated as part of the 10th anniversary of the leadership development program

In celebration of 10 years of Chick-fil-A Leader Academy™, Chick-fil-A is honoring 10 outstanding educators engaged in the program.

In January, local Chick-fil-A Owner-Operators surprised honorees with special presentations in their communities, and let them know they would be receiving an all-expenses paid trip to the Chick-fil-A Support Center: Buffington in Atlanta in March. The two-day visit will include opportunities for professional development, with focused programming and guest speakers, as well as moments of recognition and appreciation for their dedication and impact on the next generation.

Honoring the Impact of Educators

Educators were nominated by Chick-fil-A Owner-Operators who currently sponsor the Chick-fil-A Leader Academy program in local schools. Students also submitted essays and video submissions, highlighting the impact of their educators and why they should be selected for the "10 Year Honoree" recognition. In total, nearly 60 teachers were nominated for the award.

“The educators and staff who help facilitate the Chick-fil-A Leader Academy model servant leadership to these students every day, showing them firsthand what it looks like to work together as a team and selflessly serve their communities,” said Jessica Purser, Principal Team Leader, Programs and Activations at Chick-fil-A, Inc. “It’s a privilege to honor and recognize the everyday heroes who have a deep impact on students’ lives day in and day out.”
