Restaurant Brings Approximately 125 Full- and Part-Time Jobs to Community, Honors 100 Local Heroes With Free Chick-fil-A Meals for a Year

 

MISSOULA, Mont. (Nov. 3, 2022) – The first Chick-fil-A® restaurant in Missoula will open on Thursday, Nov. 10. Chick-fil-A, Inc. has selected Jonathan Lovette as the independent franchised Owner/Operator of Chick-fil-A Missoula. 
 
Located at 2880 N. Reserve St., Chick-fil-A Missoula will be open for dine-in, drive-thru and carry-out from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday. After the dining room closes, guests can visit the multi-lane drive-thru until 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Guests of Chick-fil-A Missoula can place an order for pickup, dine-in or delivery on the Chick-fil-A® App or online. When joining the Chick-fil-A One® tiered membership program, guests receive points on every qualifying purchase which can be used to redeem available rewards. As full-time, hands-on leaders in their restaurants and communities, Chick-fil-A Owner/Operators proudly reside in the areas in which they serve. 
 
In Missoula, Lovette will be responsible for all day-to-day activities of the business, including employing approximately 125 full- and part-time Team Members, serving guests and cultivating relationships with local organizations and businesses. 
 
Beginning his Chick-fil-A journey in 2003 as a Team Member in Summerville, S.C., Lovette has proudly been a part of Chick-fil-A for nearly two decades. Eager to touch all areas of the business, Lovette then spent time working in Atlanta for Chick-fil-A, Inc. and afterward, took on the role of interim manager at Chick-fil-A Southwest Plaza Mall in Colorado. In 2008, Lovette advanced into an Operator role serving two Colorado restaurants. Alongside his family, Lovette looks forward to building relationships within the Missoula community as the Owner/Operator of the city’s first Chick-fil-A restaurant. 

“Throughout my time serving Chick-fil-A, I've learned that there is always an open door and room at the table. I am grateful for the opportunity to introduce Chick-fil-A’s great tasting food and southern hospitality to Missoula and to make it a gathering place for all in the community,” said Lovette. “I hope to open doors to professional development and leadership training for my team, just as those doors were opened to me."

Caring for the Missoula Community 
In honor of the opening, Chick-fil-A, Inc. will donate $25,000 to Feeding America on behalf of the new restaurant. These funds will be distributed to partners in the greater Missoula area to aid in the fight against hunger. 
 
Chick-fil-A Missoula is recognizing 100 local heroes making an impact in the Missoula area by providing them with free Chick-fil-A meals for a year.  
 
Lovette’s restaurant will be participating in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table™ Program, an initiative that redirects surplus food from the restaurant to local soup kitchens, shelters, food banks and nonprofits in need. 
  
Our Restaurant Experience 
Chick-fil-A restaurant Team Members will greet customers in the drive-thru line in-person and will take each guest’s orders on a tablet. As the order-taker walks the line, another restaurant Team Member will come to the customer’s car to take payment, allowing vehicles to move through more quickly than they do at a traditional speaker-box drive-thru. To ensure restaurant Team Members working in the drive-thru line are comfortable in cooler weather, Chick-fil-A partnered with clothing brands that design cooling vests and moisture-wicking uniforms.
