Restaurant to Bring Approximately 130 Full- and Part-Time Jobs to Community 


LEXINGTON, S.C. (March 24, 2022) – A new Chick-fil-A® restaurant is slated to open for business in Red Bank on Thursday, March 24, 2022. Chick-fil-A, Inc. has selected Josh Wynn as the independent franchised Owner/Operator of Chick-fil-A Red Bank. Wynn will be responsible for all day-to-day activities of the business, including employing approximately 120 full- and part-time Team Members, cultivating relationships with local organizations and neighboring businesses, and serving guests. Chick-fil-A Red Bank is located at 5560 Sunset Blvd, near the intersection of N Lake Drive and Sunset Blvd, and will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday. 

Chick-fil-A remains committed to serving guests safely. Chick-fil-A Wheeler Landing will open for drive-thru, mobile ordering, dine-in and carry-out service. In place of the traditional Chick-fil-A First 100® Grand Opening celebration, Chick-fil-A Wheeler Landing will be surprising 100 local heroes making an impact in Westfield with free Chick-fil-A for a year. Additionally, in honor of the new restaurant opening, Chick-fil-A will donate $25,000 to Feeding America. The funds will be distributed to partners within the greater Indianapolis area to aid in the fight against hunger. 

Locally Owned and Operated 
Chick-fil-A Wheeler Landing is locally owned and operated by Josh Wynn, a South Carolina native. Wynn’s journey with Chick-fil-A started in 2007 as a Team Member, where he served guests and grew his leadership skills, before heading to Wofford College in Spartanburg, Sc. He continued working for Chick-fil-A during college, never imagining it would lead him to his future career. After graduation, he was hired at the Chick-fil-A Support Center where he worked in the training department. Wynn later moved into a role as a Grand Opening Supervisor for two years before becoming an Operator. Alongside his wife, April, and their two children, Wynn is excited to bring a new Chick-fil-A restaurant to the Lexington area. 

“Every day, we have the opportunity to work alongside incredible people to serve our guests,” says Wynn. “I look forward to getting to know our team in Red Bank and striving to support them toward their goals in all areas of life.”
